For more than two decades, I have worked across football leadership, coach development, technical operations, education and organisational growth throughout the United Kingdom, Canada, China and the United States.

My experience spans governing bodies, academies, community football, education environments, coach development systems and international football operations.

Across every environment, the objective has remained consistent:

ASSOCIATE REGIONAL ACADEMY MANAGER

2026 – Present

Organisation: Multi-site football development organisation operating programmes across Southern England.

My Role: Supporting operational leadership, workforce development and programme growth across approximately 70 football delivery sites.

Responsibilities:

• Regional recruitment and retention initiatives

• Safeguarding oversight and compliance

• Operational reporting frameworks

Organisation: Development-focused football organisation establishing sustainable player and coach pathways.

My Role: Led technical delivery, coach mentoring and football operations during an organisational growth phase.

Organisation: International football delivery organisation operating schools, camps and development programmes.

My Role: Managed football operations, staffing, safeguarding and programme delivery across Northern California.

Responsibilities:

• Multi-site operations

Impact: Supported operational delivery across approximately 40 staff and multiple football environments.

My Role: Supported volunteer coaches through observation, mentoring and practical development support.

Organisation: Community and player development environment connected to elite football standards.

My Role: Delivered player development experiences and supported participation growth.

2018–2020

Organisation: International football academy operating across schools and development environments.

My Role: Founded and led football operations, workforce development and programme design supporting 300+ players across six schools.

Responsibilities:

• Academy launch

• Female football initiative

• Staff recruitment and mentoring

• Parent communication systems

Impact: Established Shanghai’s first female-only primary and middle school football programme and built sustainable delivery systems before COVID closure.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – CANADA

Organisation: Student-athlete recruitment and football pathway organisation.

My Role: Led recruitment, partnerships and scholarship opportunities across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment pipelines

• Showcase delivery

Impact: Supported athletes securing more than $11m USD in scholarships.

REGIONAL TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Soccer Cape Breton | Nova Scotia, Canada
2016–2017

Organisation: Regional football governing body.

My Role: Led regional football development and technical delivery across clubs and communities.

Responsibilities:

• Football in the Community

• Indigenous football programme

• Coach education systems

• Club development

• Workforce capability

Impact: Supported approximately 4,000 players across nine member clubs and introduced Eastern Canada’s first indigenous football development programme.

COMPETITIONS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR / FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT
Soccer New Brunswick | Canada
2015–2016

Organisation: Provincial governing body supporting over 15,000 participants.

My Role: Managed competitions, operations and stakeholder engagement across New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

• Provincial competitions

• Governance and compliance

• FIFA Women’s World Cup operational support

• Education initiatives

• Sponsorship and growth

Impact: Supported delivery across 30 clubs and six leagues while contributing to major football events including FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.

2014–2018

Organisation: Independent football consultancy supporting clubs and universities.

My Role: Provided opposition analysis, talent identification and football consultancy.
